NATURAL ALCHEMY TERMS and CONDITIONS

BY ORDERING PRODUCTS FROM OUR WEBSITE, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU ACCEPT OUR TERMS and CONDITIONS

GENERAL

We' or 'Us' means Natural Alchemy.

PRICES

The costs of our items are shown in pound sterling and exclude postage and packaging costs. As the costs of individual ingredients and packaging materials vary we reserve the right to change our product prices without prior notice. Changes will not apply to orders already placed and paid in full. We endeavour to make sure pricing is correct at time of publishing, but reserve the right to change prices due to error or supplier changes.

CONDITIONS OF SALE

Orders will be processed and despatched upon receipt of payment.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

We make every effort to describe our products accurately; however there may be slight variation in product colour due to changes in colour of our natural ingredients which result from variations in natural cropping.  Any change in product colour is due to a natural variation in the ingredients used.  

PAYMENT

We accept online payments by credit or debit cards using a secure encrypted payment gateway provided by Pay pal.  If you have a Pay pal account then the costs will be taken from your Pay pal balance.  However, YOU DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT as Pay pal now offers a secure, encrypted debit and credit card service.  

Payment can also be made by cheque. Please proceed through to checkout with your order and when prompted, select OFF LINE PAYMENT as your payment method. You will be shown an invoice for your products, which will contain full instructions regarding payment. Please note that payment for your order is due within 2 weeks from placing your order. Orders will be cancelled after 2 weeks, if no payment has been received.

POSTAGE and  PACKING

Postage will be charged as stated on the website. Postage prices may change if there are increases in the rates we are charged.  Changes will not apply to orders already placed and paid in full. We therefore reserve the right to change and amend our postage prices. For details of our current postage rates and related conditions, please refer to our shipping and delivery page.

UNDELIVERED PACKAGES

Larger orders or those weighing over 1.5 kg will be sent by our courier.  Packages returned to us due to 'no response to card left by the courier’, will incur an admin fee of £10 per order. Please note you have 2 attempts within 7 days to re-arrange delivery before it is returned to us.   

If you wish to have your order re-delivered, we will invoice you to pay the admin fee, which includes the courier charge for the return of the undelivered package and the second post and packing charge to have your order re-sent.  Payment of these fees will need to be received before the order is resent.

If you choose to have a refund instead, we will refund the original amount paid for your order minus the admin fee of £12.00 to cover the courier charges for the original shipping and the returns of the undelivered package.

DISPATCH OF ORDERS

- Natural Alchemy products are very often made to order (they are fresh and handmade). Please allow up to 5 working days for your order to be processed and dispatched.
- When ordering in the days before big public holidays (such as Christmas and Easter), please check our
Shipping and  Delivery page for ordering deadlines.
- If you have ordered products which are in stock your order will be processed and dispatched within 2 working days.
- Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on Monday.  If you order over a bank holiday your order will be processed on the Tuesday.
- We do our best to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days - using either Royal Mail (smaller orders) or courier (larger orders), and in most cases orders should be delivered within 2-3 working days. Please note, however, that
we are not able to guarantee delivery times/dates and accept no responsibility for loss resulting from delivery delays that are the fault of Royal Mail.

DELIVERY TIMES

If you have not received your order within 5 working days, we recommend that you contact your local Sorting Office to check whether they are holding a parcel for you, even if no notification card has been left to advise of attempted delivery. 99.9% of delayed orders for all businesses are at local Royal Mail Sorting Office awaiting collection by the customer.

We cannot re-send items or issue refunds for lost parcels until at least 21 working days after placing your order have passed. We cannot accept responsibility for loss or any other consequence caused by a delivery delays.

CHANGES TO ORDERS

Once an order has been placed we are not able to change it or add any further orders to it.  We can only cancel your order completely if it has not already been dispatched.

RETURNS, DAMAGED GOODS and  CANCELLATIONS

RETURNS POLICY:
- Please note that due to hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on products even if they are unused unless you are returning a faulty product.  We must be notified of a fault within 7 days of receipt of order.
- Please note Refund Exclusions section below.

DAMAGED / INCORRECT GOODS:
- We must be notified of incorrect, missing or damaged products within 4 days of receipt.
- We accept no responsibility for goods damaged in transit, though we may send you a replacement, at our discretion. - All orders are checked carefully before dispatch to minimise the chance of a product missing from your parcel. Please check your package carefully before ringing to advise of a missing product.

CANCELLATIONS:
- You may cancel your order at any time before dispatch.

SUITABILITY OF PURPOSE

We do not accept responsibility for misuse of our products. It is the responsibility of the customer to use the products with discretion. We do not accept responsibility for damage or defect of goods arising from incorrect storage or use by the customer. We accept no liability for loss or consequential damage arising from the goods supplied.

PRODUCT STORAGE

All products are checked carefully before dispatch to the customer. We take no responsibility for deterioration of the products due to incorrect storage conditions i.e., exposure to direct sunlight, frost, humidity or heat etc. Please ensure that products are kept in cool and dry conditions and a clean spatula should be used to remove products from the jar (rather than fingers) to minimise the risk of deterioration in the product resulting from external contamination. Should some oil separation occur in your butters and balms (only likely if the products are exposed to direct sunlight or extreme heat sources) please stir the product with a clean spoon or a suitable utensil until the oil has blended into the balm. Oil separation does not affect the qualities of your balm.

SHELF LIFE

Our products are not preserved with chemicals substances such as parabens or phenoxyethanol. Instead, we use pure vitamin E, and essential oils. All our products have a shelf life of a minimum of 6-12 months unopened, and 2-4 months from opening. Most products will be usable for longer, however their quality may deteriorate. As these are fresh products it is best to purchase new supplies when your current supply is about to run out rather than stocking up.  

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT  

We do our best to make the least impact on the environment as possible.  We regularly reuse packaging that our ingredients are packaged in and would ask that customers recycle and reuse packing that their goods are supplied in.  

HEALTH and SAFETY

We do not accept responsibility for the misuse of our products. By purchasing our products you acknowledge that that some natural ingredients, essential oils in particular, may still cause sensitivity in susceptible individuals and that Natural Alchemy will not be held responsible for such occurrences.

All data, facts and references on our website are provided for information purposes only and are not intended to diagnose, prescribe or replace the advice of professionals. By purchasing our products you accept responsibility to check with a professional before using any products that may interfere with drugs or medical conditions.  Please see our Essential Oils information page for advice on which oils it is not considered wise to use during pregnancy.   Please check with your midwife or healthcare professional before using any products which contain essential oils during pregnancy.  Natural Alchemy accepts no responsibility for incorrect use of information or products. All representations relating to purpose of use are excluded to the full extent permitted by law and we accept no liability.

PRIVACY

The privacy and security of your personal information is our priority. Natural Alchemy does not disclose personal details of our customers to third parties.  The information you provided is used only to complete orders and to send you further information on Natural Alchemy only.
