Essential oils for warmer weather June 02 2016, 0 Comments
The classic eau-de-Cologne or deodorant oils are bergamot, neroli, lavender, and rosemary, often with petitgrain and lemon added.
This aromatic blend originated in Cologne and was a perfume created by an Italian called Johann Maria Farina early in the eighteenth century. Over time this perfume became extremely popular and the Farina family exported their cologne all over Europe in the eighteenth century.
The Farina family still produce Eau-de-Cologne in Cologne.
The mix of essential oils is now a classic combination of essential oils for cooling, refreshing body products. As well as their cooling and refreshing properties the oils also have deodorant and antiseptic qualities.
As the warmer weather is now upon us these are great oils to use for keeping cool.
